Overview[]
The Sugar Glider is an obtainable, mythical pet added in the Fall Market Event.
Appearance[]
The appearance of the Sugar Glider is based on the real-life species with the same name. The real-life Sugar Glider is native to the coastal and tropical forests of eastern Australia, Indonesia, and New Guinea.
Trait[]
Sugar Gliding: Every ~20 Minutes glides from 3 different mutated fruits. Copies 1 mutation from each fruit and applies it to the next. Ability ignores favorited fruit.
In other words, the Sugar Glider duplicates a random mutation from fruit “A” and applies it to fruit “B”, then it duplicates a random mutation from fruit “B” and applies it to fruit “C” and so on.
Note: For the sugar gliding ability to work, the player must have at least 2 unfavorited fruits with any mutation before the ability activates. If any of these requirements are not met, the pet’s ability will not work (even if the player fulfils the requirements after activation).
Trivia[]
This section is a trivia section. Please relocate any relevant information into other sections of the article.
- The Sugar Glider will not apply a mutation to fruits with no mutations.
- The Sugar Glider does not copy any type of variants (silver, gold and rainbow).
- The Sugar Glider completely ignores favorited fruit, even if the only fruits with mutation in the garden are favorited. A great way to copy and apply a mutation to a specific fruit is to favorite all the other fruits that the player does not want to have the mutation on.
- The Sugar Glider will only copy mutation that the other fruit doesn't have, and won't copy and transfer a mutation that is already on a fruit. (e.g. If fruit A and B both have Wet mutation, the Sugar Glider will not copy Wet mutation and instead copy another mutation)
- If both fruits have the same mutation, it is possible for the Sugar Glider to not copy any mutations (assuming both fruits are the only fruits not favorited/only ones in the garden)
- If two or more Sugar Glider perform the ability at the same time, it's possible for them copy two same mutation and apply it to the same fruit
- Due to Sugar Glider copying mutations that subsequent fruits don't have, they may copy a mutation that cannot be reapplied due to fusion mutations, resulting in no mutation transferred (e.g. A Sugar Glider may copy Wet mutation from fruit A and applied it to fruit B with Frozen mutation, resulting no mutation transferred)
- The Sugar Glider can only copy the mutations that were before the activation of the ability (e.g., if Sugar Glider copies wet from fruit “A” and applies it to fruit “B”, Sugar Glider will not copy wet from fruit “B” as its next mutation unless fruit “B” had wet mutation before the activation of the ability).
- The sugar glider can apply 2 mutations to the same fruit, this can happen when there are only 2 unfavorited fruits with mutations in the player’s garden (e.g., let’s say we have fruit “A” with wet and twisted mutations, and fruit “B” with chilled mutation. If the sugar glider chooses fruit “A” as its first target, sugar glider will copy any mutation from fruit “A” and apply it to fruit “B”, then it will copy chilled from fruit “B” and apply it to fruit “A”. Finally, there is a chance that sugar glider copies the remaining mutation from fruit “A” and applies it to fruit “B”, resulting in fruit “B” gaining 2 mutations).
- In the Fall Event Achievements under Mini Achievements Section, the Achievement "Obtain an Sugar Glider", it is incorrectly spelt with an 'an' despite S not being a vowel and thus it should be "Obtain a Sugar Glider".
