Seed Stages Event

Overview[]

The Seed Stages Event was an event that released in Update 1.25.0. It introduced new features, Seed Evolving, where certain seeds can evolve through multiple tiers. It started on September 27th, and ended on October 4.

Mechanics[]

Tending Evo Plants[]

Evo Plants are the main feature of this event and are different from regular crops. They have three extra stats, Plant Health, Growth Rate and Size Multiplier. These plants will be able to evolve and can be fed other crops as well.

Evo Plants Extra Stats
Plant Health: The healthier the plant, the better the grow rate!
Grow Rate: The higher the grow rate, the faster it grows!
Size Multiplier: The higher the multiplier, the bigger the fruit!
Mutations also have a chance to carry over!

Feed the plants fruit or food to keep it healthy (scrapped for Size Multiplier)	Use a few items like Watering Cans or Sprinklers, to keep the grow rate high	Feed the plants any produce or food to increase its size!

Samuel, the event NPC, looks similar to Sam but more muscular.

Behind Samuel, the player can spot on the left wall, 6 plants (2 with Gold mutation, 1 with Silver Mutation)
- On the center wall, the player can spot several seeds, the Dragon Fruit Seed, Spiked Mango Seed, Sakura Bush Seed, Elder Strawberry Seed, Twisted Tangle Seed, Tranquil Bloom Seed, Ackee Seed, and a Blood Banana Seed.
- On the right wall, the player can spot several seed packs, Basic Seed Packs, Flower Seed Pack, and the Crafters Seed Pack. A Trowel and a Dragon Fruit Seed can also be spotted.

In the initial release, some players had to contribute to a Fall Bloom to restock the shop. This was quickly patched soon after.

This is the first event to introduce a crop of every rarity.

The Event Shop restocks the same time as the Seed and Gear stands.
The event used to force players into giving Evo plants one-by-one, but later introduced the option to evolve all allowable plants in the inventory (#4).
As of October 11th, 2025, this is the one of two of the shortest events in the game, lasting only one week. The other being the Chubby Chipmunk Event.
