The Safari Harvest Event was an event that premiered in Update 1.29.0. It introduced a new Season Pass season, seeds, pets, weather and more.
Mechanics[]
Safari Harvest[]
The Safari Harvest was a mechanic where players work together to collect and contribute plants to Safari Joyce. Similar to the Summer Harvest Event.
Safari Joyce asked for different types of plant traits every 30 minutes. Players must submit plants with that trait. Similarly to the Beanstalk Event and Fall Market Event. Every 500 contributed points, the player earned an individual reward. This filled a container stack behind the harvest bin.
Submitting plants with Silver, Gold, or Rainbow variants grants bonus points:
- +1 for Silver
- +2 for Gold
- +3 for Rainbow

Safari Joe[]
Safari Joe was a NPC that gives rewards upon giving Pets to him, the better the pet is the higher the points are that the pet is worth, the higher the points, the reward.
The Safari Joe appeared every 1 hour and lasted for 10 minutes.

Safari Joe Rewards[]
Global Points[]
Global Points were a shared progress system for all players participating in the event.
Whenever a player contributed to the Safari Harvest, the global point count would increase.
As the total Global Points increased, milestones were unlocked for the entire player base such as new weather, items in the Safari Shop, Travelling Merchant and more.

Safari Shop[]
The Safari Shop was a stand beside the main Safari Harvest island which sells various types of items such as seeds, gears and eggs. It was similar to the Summer Shop.
It originally used to have a restock time of 1 hour but was gradually decreased with the global points system, to 45 minutes, 30 minutes, to 15 minutes and finally to 10 minutes.

- Originally when receiving individual rewards from the event, the message read "Safari man rewards:" This was later changed to "Safari Joyce rewards:"
- There is an unreleased Cactus looking plant in the giant crate behind Safari Joyce.
- This also appears in the Summer Seed Merchant’s wheelbarrow, and has been there for the past few weeks without explanation.
- The Safari Animal Statue can possibly be any pet from the Safari Egg. It can go from Oxpecker to Elephant.
- This update introduced a new feature where the world teamed up to gain global points , making this event a new type of event
- Mega Safari Harvest Admin Abuse started 1 hour earlier then usual.
- There were 2 visible Sugarcane produces in the event shop platform:
- One was behind the Oxpecker on the left of the Safari Shop while the other was next to an orange Bell Pepper inside the hut.
