The Gem Egg is a prismatic egg released in the Smithing Event and was also added to the Pet Eggs Shop.
Appearance[]
The Gem Egg is a blocky oval-shaped egg with a shiny glass shard texture with a red to white gradient. It has glowy crystals protruding out of its upper half. It emits several low opacity purple sparkles around its radius.
Obtainment[]
The Gem Egg can be obtained in the following ways:
Crafting Recipe (Smithing Event):
- 1× Common Egg
- 2× Common Coal
- 1× Rare Coal

- Can be dug in the Digging Event with a 5% chance.
Pet Eggs Shop:
- Has a 0.67% (1/150) chance to be in stock in the Pet Eggs shop, a user can purchase an egg for 250,000,000 or 275.

- The Gem Egg is the first egg to have the prismatic rarity.
- Although the Gem Egg is Prismatic, it does not contain any prismatic pets.
- It is also the first to contain two pets that are under 1% chance in the game.
- If under 1%, the Gem Egg would be the third, after the Primal Egg and Dinosaur Egg from the Prehistoric Event
- Each pet name from this egg has a gemstone as their first names: Topaz Snail, Amethyst Beetle, Emerald Snake, Sapphire Macaw, Diamond Panther and Ruby Squid
- This is also how the egg gets its name
- The Gem Egg is the first egg to produce particle effects.
- The Gem Egg is the 3rd Prismatic item to not have a rainbow rarity bar, others being the "Poison Apple" and the "Blood Orange".
