Overview[]
The Chubby Chipmunk Event is an event that is known as Update 1.26.0. It introduced new rewards, seeds, pets, quality of life changes, new weather and more. It lasted only 1 week.
Mechanics[]
Chubby Chipmunks[]
The player can receive a free Chubby Chipmunk pet from the event island. The player can then receive rewards based on the Chubby Chipmunk's weight.
To increase a Chubby Chipmunk's weight, the player must place down the Chubby Chipmunk in their garden and wait for it to perform its ability:
- Occasionally eats a random fruit in the player's garden and gains weight. Also spawns an Acorn somewhere which upon collected grants a random reward.
Nutty Fever[]
Players can offer fruits to Nuts at the event island to trigger Nutty Fever Weather for 5 minutes, which reduces Chubby Chipmunk's Ability to 30 seconds for the duration of the weather. Submitting growth mutation plants can add extra points.
Chubby Chipmunk Rewards[]
Rewards are unlocked based on the Chubby Chipmunk's weight.
Once the reward track is completed, players can restart it for

- This is the third event being centered around a specific pet which is the Chubby Chipmunk. The first being the Owl from the Lunar Glow Event and the second being the Queen Bee from the Bizzy Bee Event.
- This event was originally named Nutty Fever but was renamed to Chubby Chipmunk.
- The Chubby Chipmunk pet is an account bound pet and cannot be traded to other players.
- This is the first event to feature a chest during the event's release instead of the second week of release.
- This is the third event to not have a seed pack in the first half, first being the Easter event and second being the Fall Market event.
- There are a total of 6 chipmunks (including the one on Nuts' shoulder) and 12 acorns on the event island.
