The Chubby Chipmunk is a rare pet released in the Chubby Chipmunk Event.
The Chubby Chipmunk is the central mechanic behind the Chubby Chipmunk Event, as every mechanic centers around its weight and ability.
- Players receive rewards based on the Chubby Chipmunk's weight.
- Players can initiate a weather event (Nutty Fever) that shortens its ability cooldown to 30s.
Obtainment[]
The Chubby Chipmunk could be obtained for free from the Chubby Chipmunk Event island.
Appearance[]
Its appearance is the same as the Chipmunk, but as it gets older, he gains weight and grows bigger. Eventually, it will gain chubby cheeks and a large belly.
Trait[]
Occasionally eats a random fruit in the player's garden and gains weight (always failed after the event done) (ignores favorited or single harvest fruits). Also spawns an acorn somewhere on the map which upon collected grants a random reward! (Cannot be mimicked or advanced in any way other than the Red Squirrel)

Trivia[]
- The Levelup Lollipop does not affect the Chubby Chipmunk’s weight or the passive’s cooldown.
- Mimic Octopus cannot mimic the Chubby Chipmunk.
- Chubby Chipmunk's cooldown cannot be advanced by pets such as the peacock.
- Chubby Chipmunks are now tradable via trading tickets and gifting in the recent update.
- The Chubby Chipmunk comes in different colors. It can be red, brown, black, grey, and even unnatural colors of natural squirrels, such as green, purple, white and pink.
- It was once possible to claim more Chubby Chipmunks in v1947 if the player put it in the Mutation Machine and activated it, the player could claim a second Chubby Chipmunk and repeat the process with the new Chubby Chipmunk.
- This method is now patched as of v1951, although as of v1954, the Chubby Chipmunk still appears at the event island when mutating the Chubby Chipmunk, but players can't reclaim it.
- This is the only pet in the game that does not gain weight with age.
- When Chubby Chipmunk reaches 50kg, it will stop gaining weight through its ability. Although, there are some Chubby Chipmunks that have gone over the 50kgs cap, by either 0.01kgs - 0.03kgs.
- It will also stop gaining weight after the event ends.
